MacroSys employee receives NIH Merit Award

December 7 , 2006

MacroSys numerical programmer Tin Doan received a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Merit Award as a member of a team that is developing the National Database for Autism Research (NDAR).  The Merit Award recognized the NDAR Leadership Team's exceptional contributions in the development of the NDAR Project, resulting in a system that will allow researchers to explore autism in fundamentally new ways.

NDAR will make it easier and faster for researchers to gather, evaluate, and share autism research data from a variety of sources. By giving researchers access to more data than they can collect on their own and making their own data collection more efficient, the time to discovery can be reduced.
